Madison Lee is a young woman in transition who finds herself thrust into the middle of a murder. Despite Madison's hesitation, her feisty Aunt Mimi draws her into an investigation hoping her niece will find romance with the gorgeous sergeant in charge.
Madison always found it hard to resist Aunt Mimi's machinations. Now she also has to contend with Mimi's bridge playing partners, a geriatric girl gang, recruited to help solve the crime. Together they enter a world of secrets, scandal and murder.
Getting used to Florida after life in New York City was a challenge of its own. Now with the additional elements of murder and mayhem, Madison is thankful for whatever distractions she can muster. Judy the dog, new friends, and a new job help. But there is no avoiding the suspicious and twisted behavior hiding beneath the surface in her seemingly ordinary community.
