Like my protagonist, Madison Lee, I enjoy the pleasures of Manhattan, NY, and Tampa Bay, FL.  My husband and I are called snowbirds, as we fly (or drive) north and south, to avoid the brutality of winter and extreme summer temperatures. Our one-eyed dog, Captain Morgan, loves the adventure of traveling and is delighted to be with us wherever we go.

​I've been a writer all my life. The bulk of my professional efforts were reports and memos interspersed with the occasional magazine articles and doggerel. I only recently shifted focus to writing stories full-time. More importantly, I've been a reader. My interests are varied. I enjoy exploring my surroundings or sitting for a nice meal and drink, along with my husband and friends. I love to read, and when in need of comfort, I find nothing as soothing as sitting down with a good mystery.
