About Me

BioImage.png

Like my protagonist, Madison Lee, I enjoy the pleasures of Manhattan, NY, and Tampa Bay, FL.  My husband and I are called snowbirds, as we fly (or drive) north and south, to avoid the brutality of winter and extreme summer temperatures. Our one-eyed dog, Captain Morgan, loves the adventure of traveling and is delighted to be with us wherever we go.

I've been a writer all my life. The bulk of my professional efforts were reports and memos interspersed with the occasional magazine articles and doggerel. I only recently shifted focus to writing stories full-time. More importantly, I've been a reader. My interests are varied. I enjoy exploring my surroundings or sitting for a nice meal and drink, along with my husband and friends. I love to read, and when in need of comfort, I find nothing as soothing as sitting down with a good mystery.

I hope reading Accidental Crime Club brings you as much pleasure as I had writing it. The sequel, Battlefield, is already in the works. Hit CONTACT to get on the list for updates. You can also follow me on my Amazon author page.

Here's proof of my long life in writing. Not sure of my age, but I was quite young, when I submitted to MAD Magazine. I only recently found a copy of my rejection. Thought you might enjoy it. It made me laugh.

Biscuit

Captain Morgan

My inspiration for Judy, the dog in Accidental Crime Club, was my beloved pup, Biscuit. Sadly, she died. Now, I have Captain Morgan, named after a pirate because he has one eye. Both were rescues and it's total coincidence that they look alike. Stay tuned... maybe in future books Judy may get a friend.
